Business Line of Credit

Initial and later limits
$2,000–$250,000 upon qualification; only select customers receive more than $150,000 initially. Eligible existing customers may request increases up to $1 million, subject to approval and possible further financial review.
Repayment
Each draw creates an installment loan with monthly payments over 6, 12, 18 or 24 months, subject to eligibility.
Eligibility
Applicant at least 18; business started at least one year ago; recent average monthly revenue $3,000 or more; FICO at least 660, with a higher score potentially required.
Security
Loans are secured by borrower assets and require a personal guarantee. Not all industries qualify.
Credit reporting
Consumer credit reports are obtained, and payment status is reported to consumer agencies according to the agreement.

Loan fees and early payoff

Monthly fee
Currently 0.55%–1.55% of the original principal each month with an outstanding balance; this monthly fee is not APR. Pricing for future draws can change.
Other fees
No origination, annual, application or prepayment charges; late fees may apply.
Early payoff
Repaying the full principal early avoids loan fees that have not posted for subsequent months. Partial repayment does not establish the same saving.

When it may fit

Our assessment of the published programs

  • Potentially useful for a business with at least a year of history that wants recurring access and can repay each draw over two years or less.

What to weigh carefully

  • The $1 million ceiling is not an initial-application offer.
  • Compare full dollar repayment and an annualized cost against an interest-based line; monthly fees on original principal are not interchangeable with interest on a declining balance.
  • The line can be reviewed, suspended or closed; future draw pricing and term choices can change.

Questions before you accept an offer

  1. What limit is available now rather than after a future increase?
  2. Which assets and personal obligations secure the loan?
  3. What is the total cost and annualized cost for this draw?
  4. Which unposted fees disappear if I repay in full on a particular date?

Ask for written terms. Compare net cash received, total repayment, fees, payment timing and early-payoff costs for the same financing need.
